It is not that big of a deal to manually turn it on. I just want to be able to choose to manually turn on wifi when I am in the range of the access point. I have seen the solution to fix it on other phones - disable "connection optimizer." But I can't find that on the Z Force.
However, as soon as the phone senses that the connection point is in range, it will automatically turn the wifi on. Though I do need the wifi points because especially in one location once I get inside I lose all cellular connection or it is very spotty. Sometimes the signal is too weak where I am (usually sitting in my car), or sometimes the login page for the wifi won't come up and I just want to use my cellular data (have plenty of data). But I don't always want to log into them. I have some saved wifi connection points in my list.
